Ministries of Heart of God Fellowship - learning, growing, teaching, standing, singing, worshiping, playing guitar, praying, leading...

With growing into His kingdom foremost in mind, the ministries of Heart of God Fellowship cover a wide range of possibilities:
Foundations - Teaching Bible truths, learning how to depend on His word, relying on Him for guidance, learning how to have a listening ear for His voice. Just in case our world shakes around us, we can find we can depend on Him fully!
* Classes include a Men's group and Ladies group on Wednesday evenings.
Worship - Learning how to move in worship in both the church body setting and in private devotional times. Learning to play the guitar is strongly encouraged, and regular free classes are available to learn this simple instrument. If playing the guitar is not an option, other instruments are welcome, such as an autoharp, or violin. The Saturday evening service has all chords with the songs, and a place to stand/sit with your instrument.
* All are welcome at the regular worship practice evenings on Thursdays, and to bring your instrument to the Saturday evening service for active practice during the worship time.
Devotions - From learning to have daily devotional times, to getting up to give the 5-min devotion at the Saturday service, sharing what He is doing in our lives this week is strongly emphasized.
* Devotions are given at the Saturday service.
Testimony - After the service worship time, each and every person is given an opportunity to share a scripture and briefly explain how that scripture is alive to them this week, or to share a scripture and relate it to a recent experience. This time of testimony is when "body ministry" shines, and where everyone is encouraged and strengthened by the body of Christ.
Prayer - Learning how to speak to Him, and to listen to Him, are both equally important as we communicate with our Maker and Lord.
Growing - As any member grows in knowledge and confidence, opportunities are given to learn to share, to teach, to speak, and to lead worship. These opportunities range from sharing during services, to participating in the weekly Bible studies in various homes and locations.
* These services include the Wednesday evening Men's Bible study at the Byam House, a Ladies Bible study, and other services as they are set up seasonally.
All ministries have one goal in mind: To grow into His kingdom, give our Lord Jesus Christ all the glory for what we do, and to magnify His name! The schedule page includes times and locations.
